Farmer Opportunity Details
Locations: Camden, Gloucester, Salem County
I have worked on my families apple and peach farm my entire life. We transitioned the farm to grape vines in 1998. I have done everything from planting crops to harvesting, driving tractors, forklifts, packing peaches, etc. I also have a degree in agricultural business from Rutgers Cook College. If you have a large preserved farm and would be interested in selling a piece of it, you are allowed to sell a portion. See below: A landowner who wishes to subdivide a permanently preserved farm may apply to the county agriculture development board for a division of the premises. The division must meet criteria in the SADC's policy, including that the resulting parcels are agriculturally viable. Source: https://www.nj.gov/agriculture/sadc/farmpreserve/postpres/
My wife and I are looking for 8-15 acres of farmland (ok if preserved farmland) to plant a small vineyard. If possible, it would be ideal if the farm had some sort of structure on it. Old cold storage, packing house or pole barn that I could renovate to make and store wine. Please feel free to call, text or email me if you have anything available.
